Puresafe-CV Dry Syrup is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby however, there are limited human studies.
Puresafe-CV Dry Syrup is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
It is not known whether Puresafe-CV Dry Syrup alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Puresafe-CV Dry Syrup should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Puresafe-CV Dry Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Puresafe-CV Dry Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Cefixime and Potassium Clavulanate. Cefixime is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Potassium Clavulanate is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefixime against bacteria.
