It is an anti-diarrheal drug. Its used to treat diarrhea symptoms, such as stomach pain, cramps, and loose stools, caused by bacterial or parasitic infections.
It reduces fluid and electrolyte secretion from the intestine, helping to decrease fluid loss in diarrhea. It contains an antibiotic, Ofloxacin, which kills the bacteria causing the infection.
Take with or without food as prescribed by your doctor. Ensure regular fluid intake to stay hydrated. Complete the full course of drug.

Racigyl O 100mg/200mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Racecadotril and ofloxacin which treat diarrhoea. Racecadotril is an enkephalinase inhibitor which has anti-secretory effects. It reduces the secretion of water and electrolytes from the intestine. This helps reduce the amount of fluid lost from the body in diarrhoea. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. This treats your infection.
