Reg MPS Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby however, there are limited human studies.
Reg MPS Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Reg MPS Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.<BR>Reg MPS Tablet may cause drowsiness, dizziness, dyskinesia and dystonias which could affect the vision and may interfere with the ability to drive.
Reg MPS Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Reg MPS Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Reg MPS Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Reg MPS Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Reg MPS Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Metoclopramide and simethicone. Metoclopramide is a prokinetic which works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It also acts on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach. Simethicone is an antifoaming medicine which disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.
