Introduction to Regmotil Mps 5 mg/125 mg Tablet

It is classified as a gastroprokinetic agent and an antiflatulent. It is used to improve stomach and intestine movement (mosapride) and relieve gas-related discomfort (activated dimethicone/simethicone).

Mosapride enhances the contractions of the stomach and intestines, promoting better movement of food. Activated dimethicone/simethicone helps break down gas bubbles in the stomach, reducing gas-related discomfort.

How Regmotil Mps 5 mg/125 mg Tablet works

Regmotil Mps 5 mg/125 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Mosapride and simethicone which relieve symptoms of constipation. Mosapride is a prokinetic which facilitates the movement of intestines, thereby increasing the frequency of bowel movements, softening stools, and reducing abdominal pain/discomfort. Simethicone is an antifoaming medicine which disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.
