Your doctor may monitor your liver function while on treatment with this medicine. Avoid drinking alcohol as this may have additional adverse effects on the liver. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using this medicine.
Rezide 500mg Tablet is an antitubercular medicine. In the body, it gets converted to pyrazinoic acid. This pyrazinoic acid inhibits fatty acid synthase I (bacterial enzyme), which is essential for bacterial growth. Thus, it works as a bacteriocidal to prohibit their growth and treats tuberculosis.
- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Rezide 500mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
