This medication is combination of Ezetimibe + Rosuvastatin. Ezetimibe + Rosuvastatin is a combination medication used to lower cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Ezetimibe reduces the absorption of cholesterol from the intestines, while Rosuvastatin is a statin that decreases cholesterol production in the liver.

Ezetimibe inhibits the Niemann-Pick C1-Like 1 (NPC1L1) protein, reducing cholesterol absorption in the small intestine. Rosuvastatin inhibits the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, which is involved in the synthesis of cholesterol in the liver.
