Introduction to Saplure Eye Drop

It belongs to the class of drugs known as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It is used to relieve eye inflammation and pain.

The combination of flurbiprofen and phenyl mercuric nitrate works by reducing inflammation in the eyes. Flurbiprofen is an NSAID that decreases swelling and pain, while phenyl mercuric nitrate helps prevent infection.

How Saplure Eye Drop works

Saplure Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: flurbiprofen and mercuric nitrate. Flurbiprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that causes pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Phenyl mercuric nitrate is a preservative.

How To Use Saplure Eye Drop

This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.
