This combination medication is used to manage the symptoms of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) by improving urine flow and reducing the size of the prostate gland, leading to better quality of life for patients.

Use cautiously in severe kidney disease; consult your doctor.

Silodosin: A selective alpha-1 blocker that relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, improving urine flow. Dutasteride: A 5-alpha reductase inhibitor that shrinks the prostate by reducing levels of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which contributes to prostate growth.
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is close to the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
