Sofab LP Tablet is a combination of two antiviral medicines: Ledipasvir and Sofosbuvir. They work by lowering the amount of hepatitis C virus in the body and removing the virus from the blood over a period of time.
- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Sofab LP Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Sofab LP Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby however, there are limited human studies.
Sofab LP Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Sofab LP Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.<BR>Sofab LP Tablet, when taken together with other medicines for the treatment of hepatitis c infection, may produce dizziness, blurred vision and this may affect your ability to drive.
Sofab LP Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Sofab LP Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.<BR>Limited information is available on use of Sofab LP Tablet in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate kidney disease.
Sofab LP Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Sofab LP Tablet is recommended.
