It is a combination medicine which contains antifibrinolytic drug and nutritional supplement. It is prescribed to reduce bleeding during periods and after surgery, preventing excessive blood loss.
It works by blocking the release of specific chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. It helps in normal blood clotting and reduces bleeding during menstruation or post-surgery.
Use it in dose and direction as prescribed by doctor.
Tamik BC Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Mefenamic acid, Tranexamic acid and Vitamin K which reduce excessive bleeding and pain. Mefenamic acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Tranexamic acid is an anti-fibrinolytic. It works by helping blood clot normally to reduce bleeding during periods, or after surgery. Vitamin K is also blood clotting vitamin which controls excessive bleeding.
- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tamik BC Tablet is to be taken with food.

It may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
It should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of this drug may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
It is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of this drug may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
