It is a combination of Telmisartan and Rosuvastatin used to treat High blood pressure and hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol level). It reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke.
How Telrose 40mg/10mg Tablet 15s works
Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist that works by blocking the action of angiotensin II in the body which causes the narrowing of blood vessels and cause hypertension. It widens and relaxes blood vessels resulting in the lowering of blood vessels. Rosuvastatin is an HMG CoA reductase inhibitor that blocks a liver enzyme (HMG CoA Reductase), causing the liver to produce less cholesterol. It reduces bad cholesterol and Good cholesterol.
