This combination of drug is used for the treatment of HIV infection and lower the risk of getting HIV through risks.

How Trustiva Tablet 30s works

Emtricitabine is phophorylated when combine in cells and inhibit the HIV-1 transcriptase and results to terminate the DNA chain. Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate can also inhibit the HIV-1 reverse transcriptase after integration into DNA that can cause DNA chain termination. Efavirenz can inhibit the virtal RNA-directed DNA polymerase activity.
