This is an antifungal medicine that can treat fungal infections in the skin, hair, and nails
It treats infection by inhibiting fungal cell growth and replication and also reduces the chances of it coming back
Griseofulvin as an active constituent is present in this medicine which binds with fungal microtubules and disturbs the process of mitosis and ultimately inhibits cell division. In human cells it also binds to keratin (protein) and this binding resist invasion of fungus. Due to this mechanism, it effectively prevents and treats fungal infections.
