It is a medication used to treat diabetic nerve disease.This medicine is employed to alleviate long-lasting (chronic) pain caused by nerve damage due to diabetes.

It contains two active ingredients, Epalrestat and Methylcobalamin.

Epalrestat is an aldose reductase inhibitor that blocks the accumulation of sorbitol in cells, a factor contributing to diabetic nerve disease.
Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B that helps produce myelin, a substance protecting nerve fibers and rejuvenating damaged nerve cells. Use it in dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor.

How Aldonil Plus Tablet SR 10s works

Aldonil Plus Tablet SR is a combination of two medicines: Epalrestat and methylcobalamin which treat diabetic nerve disease. Epalrestat is an aldose reductase inhibitor. How To Use Aldonil Plus Tablet SR 10s

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Aldonil Plus Tablet SR may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
