The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, and increased liver enzymes. However, these are temporary and usually subside on their own. Please consult your doctor if these do not resolve or persist for a longer duration.

How Epalpex-M SR Tablet works
Epalpex-M SR Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Epalrestat and methylcobalamin which treat diabetic nerve disease. Epalrestat is an aldose reductase inhibitor. It blocks the accumulation of sorbitol in cells, which has been related in causing diabetic nerve disease. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B which helps in the production of myelin, a substance that protects nerve fibers and rejuvenates damaged nerve cells.
How To Use Epalpex-M SR Tablet
- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Epalpex-M SR Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
